![]() The first time I played Hearts of Stone, I was unsure of what was included in the expansion. The scene on board the ofieri vessel is a bit of a bait and switch. In usual Witcher fashion, the Toad Prince is of course a take on a classical tale, and the monster is of course an actual prince. A few Northern Wind bombs helped too, but generally, footwork was all that was strictly necessary. Two Fast Attacks and then a dodge to the side. In general the expansions have good boss fights that, while not as tightly designed as those in the Dark Souls games, are a nice gameplay variation from your usual opponents.įroggy was tricky until I fell back onto my Dark Souls training and stopped being greedy. I really like the boss fight against the Toad Prince. Sometimes it sounds american, other times it sounds like something else. ![]() I can't place the voice actress' dialect. But it must be dreadfully draining to put so much heart into each and every patient. She's a true idealist when it comes to her calling and profession. And since the Witcherverse is a small place, we of course bump into Shani, our old friend from the first game (and the books, of course). Went into the Oxenfurt sewers to find the toad prince. Got some time with Hearts of Stone this weekend. Especially in the epilogue (whichever you get). ![]() Noice! The ending is suitably epic, while still retaining a personal feel.
